The check is run by Seer

SearchEmail has no search of its own. When you search an address, your browser asks this site to run Seer’s free check for you, and Seer runs it. This site passes your IP address to Seer with the request, so the daily allowance and the bot check apply to you and not to everyone using this site.

Seer logs each check: the address searched, your IP address and your browser’s user agent, as described in Seer’s privacy policy. Seer uses these to enforce the daily allowance and to prevent abuse.

What this site keeps

This site has no accounts, no database and no search history. Your search is never stored here. The web server keeps no record of the addresses searched.

Bot protection

Before a check runs, Cloudflare Turnstile confirms you are a person. Cloudflare processes the data it needs for that under its own privacy policy.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits. Every page address it reports has its query string removed, and the results page reports a fixed title, so the address you searched never reaches Google. A click to Seer from a results page goes through this site first for the same reason.

What results show

Results are limited. An account card shows the top of a public profile and counts the rest as locked. The breach count is a number, with no breach names, passwords or other leaked data. Masked values stay masked.

The person you search

Nothing is sent to the address you search, and no one is told that it was looked up.

Removing your records

If you own an address and want records keyed to it suppressed, use Seer’s removal page. You will be asked to confirm the address by following a link sent to it. Questions about privacy go to Seer through its contact page.
